Wallpaper Installation

Step-1: Walls Analysis

Make Sure the Walls are plain. The more plain & smooth walls are the better the wallpaper will be installed. Normally in areas in install wallpaper the wall is covered with paint, putty, P.O.P, primer or white cement. Except on White Cement the wallpaper generally if the installer is good at his work the wallpaper will be very smoothly installed. There won`t be any bubbles or any uneveness in wallpaper.

Talking about the white cement wall the wallpaper eventhough gets installed properly installed on the wall but the difference comes in looking the wallpaper at very less distance usually less than 1 foot distance. with such a less distance your will very small size pores on the wallpaper. These pores are ignorable. 

When you will see the wallpaper on a considerable distance the wallpaper will look completly plain inspite of being installed on a white cement wall.

After you have analysed the surface look for Seepage. Seepage is the water that is stored on walls. this walls are somewhat wet or fully wet depending on the seepage quantity.

There is a chance that when you are looking at the wall the dry but can get wet in the future. So to solve this problem talk to the owner of the home or office. Since they are living for quite a long time 3year,5 years or more than that they adjactly know about seepage. 

So by talking to the owner or looking at the wall if there is no seepage; you can be completly sure that the wall remain dry for full 365 days in a year. 

Ok Next lets talk about dry walls.

For a wallpaper to be continuously pasted for more than 5 years the wall should be for all 365 days in a year. This is extremly important. Dry wall does not affect wallpaper. They bond between wallpaper and the wall is very strong & firm on dry walls. Once you have analysed the wall go ahead and do Step-2.

Step-2: Wall Measurement

Now We will measure the wall. We need only two measurments for this. Measure the wall from left to right in a straight line Using a Measuring tape. 

This will be our length of the wall. Now Using the tape measure the height of the wall. Note: Both the measurements should be in foot. Now multiply both the values. The ans that comes will be the size of the wall. The unit that we give to this size wall is square-feet in short sqft.
